About Haendehoch! Risografik
Haendehoch! Risografik is a Risograph printing studio that uses a RZ 370 EP machine with 8 different base colours. The A3+ machine prints in black, blue, green, purple, red, yellow, orange and fluorescent pink on various rough paper types. The printing process is very much like photocopying, but with vibrant colours like in screen printing. It is a very sustainable way of printing; the inks are soy or rice bran oil based and the master images are made on a roll of banana paper. It is also very energy effective way of reproduction as it uses no heat.
Limited run publications and small run art prints for a wide range of artists and independent publishers are made at haendehoch! All posters and covers for the haendehoch! phonographics 7” vinyl recordlabel are printed here too.
Various own publications are for sale here on this website, have a look!
About Haendehoch! Phonographics
Haendehoch! Phonographics is about putting forgotten digital and unreleased gems on vinyl for the first time, to save them from oblivion and not let them get lost in the digits forever. All selected songs are already digitally released or in online playlists for quite a while. They have never been released on vinyl before and these gems are now finally getting a well deserved release with a custom made risograph cover. It's about individual songs only, so there are always different artists on each side. There's no A or B sides, just side 1 and side A.
The 7” vinyl singles come in a multicolour risograph printed handmade sleeve with an extra multicolour risograph printed A3 poster (297 x 420mm) folded inside a transparent pvc sleeve. The white labels are hand-stamped. Each edition is 150 pieces only, of which 100 are for sale on this website.
